1. Brown fused Aluminum Oxide. Code A

Brown fused aluminum oxide is the most traditional abrasive materials. The main material of Brown fused alumina is bauxite, which is electrically fused in high temperature. It is brown and features high hardness and toughness. The abrasive tools made by Brown Aluminum Oxide are suitable for grinding the carbon steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze etc. In addition, it is also widely used in refractory materials, chemical additives, precision casting and antissliding material, sand blasting, etc.

2. Calcined Brown Fused Alumina, +1350 oC

CODE: BC-BFA -HC1350

After calcined at temperature 1350℃, the brown fused alumina shows blue. Impurities in the grains will be separated out or vaporized. The surface of each particle becomes coarser. This improves its hydrophilicity greatly. After 1350℃ calcinations, inner cracks of the particles from crushing and crystal cooling process are closed, Hence the toughness, strength becomes some better than normal BFA and the wearing resistance is enhanced too.

This product is mainly used for making high speed strong sanding belt, high grade bonded abrasives, resin-bonded abrasive wheels, sand paper, large cutting disc, for applications of grinding stainless steel plate, alloy steel and cemented carbide.

3. Heated & Ceramic-coated Brown fused alumina

CODE: BC-BFA-HCC

BFA-HCC is ceramic coated with ferric oxide on the surface by a specific processing. It is made from high quality brown fused alumina calcined at high temperature through intensive deep processing. The product features a large specific surface area, stronger hydrophilicity, even particle size, higher purity, stronger binding power, cutting effciency and good heat dispersion performance, it is main performance indexes are as below: comparing with normal BFA, micro-hardness of BFA-HCC increases 10%, toughness increases 10%, hydrophilicity increase 3.5 times, grinding and cutting quantity increases 3% and efficiency increase 30%-50% . It is better choice for making top grade coated abrasive and top grade resin bonded wheels.
